Unilever and Innova Partnerships one step closer to
self-cleaning surfaces

Penrhos Bio has become a member of the National Biofilms Innovation Centre, a world leading Innovation Knowledge Centre connecting scientists and industrial partners specialising in Biofilms from across the UK. Jointly funded by the BBSRC, Innovate UK, and the Hartree Centre, NBIC creates a fusion of world class interdisciplinary research and industry partnerships, and gives Penrhos Bio further access to researchers, funding opportunities and potential commercial partners in the field of anti-biofilm technology. NBIC is also highly influential in raising public awareness of the importance of biofilms through their public engagement and outreach activities. Penrhos Bio is looking forward to being an active and engaged member of the Centre, and contributing to its activities. Through this engagement, we also aim to deliver significant and impactful innovations for society.
